I put close to 10k per calender year on my bike and I am just sick of the constant chain maintenance. A bike is enough maintenance by itself to not have to worry about clean, lube and tighten just about every time I ride. I originally bought a bike to save on fuel consumption of my car so I’d like to find something that can still get in the 60+mpg range and is just an all around low maintenance bike

You could fit a Scottoiler or something similar. It automatically lubes the chain as you ride.
