Is this dealership trying to scam me? What can I do legally?

I bought a used motorcycle from a dealer the other day. We negotiated a price at $3200, signed a contract, bill of sale, both parties signed, the whole nine yards. I put down a $500 deposit and we agree I would pay the remaining balance in cash upon deliver of the bike the day after tomorrow. Now this guy calls me up saying the dealer made a mistake, that they paid $3000 for the bike so now they have to charge me $3600 because they would be at a lost blah blah, whatever. Point is, they can’t do this right? I mean I have a signed contract by both parties for $3200 so how can they just jack up the price? What can I do legally? They still have my deposit and I want the bike, but I am not going to pay their price.
