The scissor lift formula with a force from…?
The formula for a scissor jack uses a screw or hydraulic ram. I am in search for manual human power simply with the squeeze of the thumb and pointer finger.

The idea, with the formula solved, I can squeeze a length arm that is 4 feet tall that has a load all together with the main load of 105 lb and its start angle is 80 degrees, according to the given formula, I get about 17.5 lb of work needed to start the squeeze to lift the 105 lb net weight. But, this only applies to scissor jacks and hydraulic rams?
What is the formula for human work?
Thanks
Do you understand how that formula comes around? Also, you are confusing force and work: they are two completely different quantities.
Third, there is no “formula” for “human work”. Work is just the dot product of force times distance and not a function of who or what produces it.
